Really good classic food, except it's a bit pricey to get any starters or desserts.. very open restaurant and not very private, so if you're going on a date or something wait until late night

Just ordered from argos, simple food. Chicken tenders they were burnt. Reuben sandwich that was cold and disgusting. Argos has really gone down hill since I've last been there. Do not recommend

There were 11 of us including a 6 year old and a 2 year old. The waitress was amazing and got the kids food first and remembered exactly what everyone had ordered. She interacted with the kids and made them feel important. Absolutely the best restaurant in Medicine Hat.

I took my wife and kids out expecting a great meal as i heard good things about this place. But to my surprise there was these slithering bugs in the bathroom stalls and there was fruit flies in the restaurant. Food had a strange odor to it. Not sure how a place like this is even open

Very pleasant atmosphere for this family restaurant. The service was above all others. From the time we entered the establishment, in one minute we were seated at our table, one minute after that our drink order was taken. After she returned with our drinks, she took our orders. All that in 10 minutes.We got our order in 15 minutes. The food was very tasty, meat tender and hot. We were all very impressed. Very highly recommended!!!The restaurant was very clean and the decor was very tasteful chosen. Very comfortable and relaxing. You must make a point to go and try for your selves.

Honestly the worst restaurant meal I've had in a very long time. I ordered the shrimp scampi with asparagus which was 4 regular sized shrimp, half a can of canned shrimp and butter poured over a bunch of rice with two asparagus Spears cooked beyond recognition. They were so over cooked there was no cutting them. No flavor at all, incredibly under seasoned. Hubby ordered the dry ribs and Caesar, mostly bone hardly any meat and they burnt what little meat was there. He told them he wasn't happy with it so they took them back and put hot sauce on them for him, still no better. Took forever, super bland, she knew we weren't happy as we didn't eat our meals and gave us only 10% off. Will not be back.

Absolutely horrible the cooks have no idea what they are doing. I asked for a Rib Eye Steak medium rare it came out less than blue rare. Plus I paid extra for a twice baked stuffed potato. It was covered in burnt yellow cheddar cheese and was all greasy because of it. Don't go here.

Everything was dry, under seasoned, and just meh. It was disheartening.

Hard shell fish tacos were different. Not in a good way. Everything else was good.

The service was good and the staff was friendly. My wife and I had the lasagna, I had the large and my wife had the smaller size. I would suggest for the price difference of $2 you get the larger. It came with garlic toast but I found the lasagna plain and thought it could use more cheese.

Good service but the food is just... average at best and straight up bad at worst. Our table had about 6 orders of basically inedible prime rib on 'prime rib night', a burger patty that makes Dairy Queen's look massive and a Philly cheesesteak sandwich which was actually decent and then kinda ruined by this weird brown gravy which has no place in a Philly. Bless the great service from our waitress but man anyone that rates this place as a 5 star food experience needs to recalibrate a little.

Waited for food for about 45 minutes. One egg had a fish taste to it (did not eat). Portioning seemed small. Pancakes have shrunk in size. Waitress did not return to see if food was ok. Not overly impressed

Went with my aunt, veal cutlets, and daughter, kids ravioli. I had the half size ravioli, if that's half size the full could most likely feed two. The first thing I'd like to point out is that most of the food is definitely mass produced. If you're looking for something special this is not the place. Here you're getting food service grade pastas and meat cutlets (to be honest the meat cutlets looked like hospital food). The sauce looked to be made in the restaurant; however, from the taste and smell it was obvious (even to my seven year old) that it had been scorched at some point ("mum I don't like the way it smells!") and no one likes pulling full bay leaves out of their sauce. I'd have give two stars were it not for the service from our wonderful waitress Kaitlyn.

Beautiful reasturant.. poor service, had to wait ridiculously long time just to get a refill, the appetizer was great, but when it came for our meal it was cold....my boyfriend meal was fine..... again the waitress was absent through out the whole meal and it wasn't even busy.... I had to find another waitress to bring our bill and then when I went to the front counter to pay a different girl and she asked how our experience was. I explained that mine had come out cold and I was honestly disappointed, .... she did nothing...no apologies inquiry as to why and didn't even offer a suggestion to fix the situation.

We had dinner tonight here. It's been many years since I was here on the back of a bad experience (food & service), I had the all you can eat beef rib special. Everything thing was great, however the ribs sold out before I was done. They did a good job at compensation with all you can eat sides and free dessert. The only reason I am actually leaving a review though, is for our waitress Kati. She was fantastic, attentive, and professional. She deserves a raise!

Argo's is a typical family restaurant that presents a standard fair menu reasonably priced. If you're looking to try a little out of the ordinary, you won't find it at Argo's. If you want no surprises and mediocre at best, then this is the place to go.

The Clubhouse on rye was great. We appreciated the cleanliness and safety protocols in these covid times.
